In my previous quarterly review, I wrote about having a single priority: finding a new job.
This plot took a twist a few months ago, as I got fired. Usually, that would probably be a source of panic or distress. For me, it was a relief. The last months at my job were hell.
That chapter ended without much fanfare, but the future looks bright. I won’t go into details just yet, but I’m in discussions about doing independent contracting, fully remote and on my own terms. The potential payout is substantial. The autonomy, even more so.
Interesting times ahead.
